A Dedicated Long Distance T1 is a 23 or 24 voice channel circuit used for outbound long distance calling and 800 # inbound calling that rides over T1 service. Inbound 800 # calls can be set up using DNIS digits (numeric codes that can be 4 to 10 digits long) that route 800 # traffic to a specific destination within the customer’s PBX equipment.
